Guided rides through our private trails - beginners welcome!
- 45 US dollars$45
Join us for a guided horseback trail ride through the pristine forests and fields of Northern Michigan. From horseback, you will see beautiful hardwood forests; vibrant fields of wheat, oats, beans, and alfalfa; and our namesake, Rose Creek itself! Our trails wind through our hardwoods and will lead to a lookout on the banks of the Thunder Bay River. Keep your eyes out for wildlife - guests often see deer, turkeys, frogs, etc. along our trails. No experience is necessary. Reservations are required. Helmets are provided and required. Riders must be at least 8 years old and weigh no more than 200 pounds. Riders, no matter what age, must be physically capable to mount, sit, balance, hold the reins, and dismount without assistance. Horseback riding uses just about every muscle in your body, so if you are injured or are unable to use one of your extremities, then this may not be the right fit for you. Please call if you have any questions regarding this. Are you ready to ride?! Complete the following steps: 1. Book your ride online. 2. Make sure that you receive the confirmation email. 3. Arrive 10-15 minutes before your reserved time in order to complete the waiver, fit helmets, see the demonstration, and fit saddles. 4. Listen to the wrangler to see which horse you will be matched with based on your riding ability and personality. 5. Enjoy your ride!
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your scheduled trail ride. Guests who cancel on shorter notice or no-show will be charged for that missed ride. This is enforced due to limited trail ride availability. Extreme weather (high winds, thunderstorms, hail, blizzard, etc.) will force us to cancel your ride for your and the horses’ safety. Your ride will be refunded or rescheduled in case of RCHA’s decision to cancel a ride.
